We are adding a twist to our group that was previously Run for Recovery - instead of meeting up strictly for runs we will be doing all kinds of fun healthy activities! This group is for women and men who are interested in feminist issues. We will have meetings on various topics including: women's empowerment, equal rights, portrayal of women in the media, relationships, activism, medical/reproductive laws etc. Some of our meetings will be informal social gatherings, discussion groups, guest speakers and panel forums. We will also include some activism in the form of social posting and activist blogging.
